The recent Business Industry Day proved to be an inspiring and insightful event for our students. Eight guest speakers from renowned organisations such as CMPP, BMW, Microsoft, and PwC joined us to share their professional journeys and expertise. Among the distinguished speakers were five alumni of the College, who have gone on to make significant strides in their respective fields.
Their specialisms ranged from managing successful small businesses to designing million-pound marketing campaigns and navigating the fast track of accelerated degree courses. The event provided second-year A-Level and BTEC business students, financial studies and accounting students, and first-year economics students with an invaluable opportunity to engage with real-world insights directly linked to their areas of study.
The speakers offered not only career advice, but also practical examples of how the theories and skills learned in the classroom are applied in dynamic industries. This event emphasised the importance of hard work, adaptability, and the potential that lies within every student, as evidenced by the success stories shared by our very own alumni.
Natalie McGuinness, Curriculum Manager Level 3 business Diploma said "The Business Industry Day continues to be a vital bridge between education and the professional world, fostering connections that inspire our students and encourage them to envision their own paths to success."
