It was an afternoon filled with creativity when students were joined by Mark Freeman, Creative Director and Co-Founder of advertising agency ‘Movement Digital’. The agency have produced a vast array of digital campaigns for companies including Coca-Cola, Fanta, Vodafone and SEAT. As well as delivering an insightful talk on working in the advertising agency, Mark set the students a brief for a project they will be working on over the coming months as part of their assessment.
To kick-start the project, which is to develop a new cross-media advertising campaign to launch a new luxury grooming product, Mark helped the students develop initial ideas. Curriculum Manager of the CTEC digital media course Rachel Beasley said, “The workshop was fantastic! It enriched the students’ knowledge and understanding of how advertising works and they learnt how agencies have to be creative and innovative in such a competitive world. This invaluable time with an industry professional will help students on their way to producing interesting and engaging advertising campaigns. We feel very privileged that Mark is so keen to play an active role in this project.”
Mark commented on how excited he is to return to the College to listen to the pitches and provide important feedback which we know will be invaluable to our students.
