A group of fine art students were recently commissioned by Frimley Park Hospital's Organ Donation Committee to create a mural for the Organ Transplant wing.
The committee asked that the memorial, which is now on display, pay tribute to the importance of organ donation and those that have been affected by it. Our students rose to the challenge and created something to inspire and hearten those that come to the ward for years to come.
Thank you to the following fine art students who worked tirelessly to create the mural entitled, “Out Of Each Ending...”: Harriet; Tamara; Phoebe; Hannah and Apollo.
Apollo, who is also studying graphic design and French at the College commented, “It was a huge honour to be asked to do something for the community. Organ donation is something that touches so many people’s lives and to be able to say I have helped create a lasting tribute to all of them gives me a very proud feeling.”
