The Role
The theatre technical manager's role involves supporting staff and students in reaching the highest standards possible in performances, examinations and presentations. The post will offer technical support in the areas of lighting and sound and ensure the smooth running and maintenance of the theatre. The theatre technical manager will also be responsible for liaising with teachers and directors to create, hire, or buy other aspects of a theatre production, such as set, props, and costume. They will line manage the theatre technician and bank technicians.
Contract/Hours: Full year, 37 hours per week. Please note some evening and weekend work is required depending on the College production schedule.
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday
