Salary: £8.29 per hour; in addition, you are also entitled to holiday pay at the rate of £1.00 per hour

This role is one that can make a real difference, helping provide students with the best opportunity to achieve the qualifications they have studied so hard for. Exams are among the most important and stressful events in the life of any learner: that’s why it’s so important they are conducted in the correct way and our Invigilators are crucial to this process. 

We are currently looking for additional Invigilators, employed on a casual basis, to help oversee our exams during the main examination period (April to June), and some examinations in November and January.  

Joining an established team, at this outstanding college, you will support the running of exams in a highly regulated environment.  You will need to be reliable and punctual, able to relate to learners, and comfortable in a high-pressure environment. Your duties will include setting up examination rooms, checking attendance, observing, collecting scripts, and liaising with students and staff to resolve queries.  Prior experience of invigilation and JCQ guidelines will be an advantage, however, full training will be provided.

The successful candidate will ideally be available to work between 08:30 and 17:00 during the exam season.
