Salary: £20,283 - £25,220 per annum (Support Staff Salary Grade 4)
This is an exciting opportunity for an Exams Assistant to join the Registry within an outstanding Sixth Form College. You will play a vital role in supporting the Exams Officer in delivering internal and external examinations and assessments for academic and vocational courses.
The successful candidate should have experience of undertaking administrative work in a busy office environment. Knowledge and experience of administering exams in a similar environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
You will need to have excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders to provide an exams function which meets the needs of both staff and students.
We are seeking a candidate who has good technical ability and ideally familiar with Microsoft Access, as we use our own in-house MIS. Excellent organisational and planning skills will be crucial in order to be successful in this role, along with good attention to detail and strong time management skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours per week, with regular extended hours during exam periods. This is NOT a term-time only role.
