This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join the Study Support team within an outstanding Sixth Form College. As part of this team you will be primarily responsible for delivering individualised support to a named student, both in class and outside of lessons; including planning and reviewing support, ensuring access to the curriculum and that progress is effectively tracked and monitored.
You should be able to evidence recent experience of working with students age 16-18, including those with additional needs.
We are seeking a candidate who has the ability to support a student of A level Biology, Chemistry and Maths. You will need to have excellent communication skills and be self-motivated, with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively with a variety of staff.
The successful candidate will be required to work approximately 35 hours across the week - times will be determined by the student’s timetable.
This is a term-time only role on a fixed term basis.
