The Trust has already created a number of centralised functions to support the delivery of outstanding education, including HR, Finance & payroll, Estates & facilities and Careers guidance.  This is an exciting time for an experienced HR Advisor to join our team and work in collaboration with HR Business Partners to develop and embed people processes and initiatives, whilst also providing a professional HR advice service to Trust leadership teams.

To be effective within this role you will need to have extensive experience of case management and the ability to interpret employment law and internal policy frameworks.  A key responsibility of this role will be to develop the people management skills and confidence of line managers via effective coaching and support, so proven experience in this area is key, as is previous experience of designing and implementing policy and process frameworks.

At a busy time for our team, we are seeking a proactive candidate that can make an immediate impact and difference. In line with one of our Trust core values, we also need you to have a restless mind-set and constantly be seeking out opportunities to improve our processes and activities.

This is a critical role, working closely with the HR Director and HR Business Partners to deliver agreed people priorities, however the successful candidate must also be self-motivated and able to deliver results independently. It is essential that our successful candidate is able to build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and that they are able to influence others when required.

This is a rewarding role, where you can truly make a difference to the lives of young people, but you will need to enjoy a fast-paced challenge at a time of change for our team. Proven experience within an operational HR role is essential and whilst a CIPD Level 5 qualification is advantageous, the Trust will sponsor the successful candidate to achieve or further their current qualification status.

The successful candidate will be required to work 37 hours per week and this is NOT a term-time only role.
