On the 7 July from 9:00 until 12:15 in the Lecture Theatre, we will be running a session on the 'critical thinking' skills that are required for some university admissions tests (identifying parts of arguments, flaws in arguments, and assumptions made by arguments etc.).
This is relevant to students applying for Law, Medicine, Veterinary Science and for those applying to many (but by no means all) Oxford and Cambridge courses. These students have been emailed further information.
If students are unsure whether their course includes an admissions test assessing these skills, they should discuss this with their Tutor.
