There will be no timetabled lessons on 1 February – all students have been allocated this day to complete the National Numeracy Challenge. This task is part of every student’s employability curriculum and is a compulsory part of their programme of study.
Raising standards of numeracy is a high priority for Government and we are pleased to support this at Farnborough.
The National Numeracy Challenge aims to transform negative attitudes towards maths and numeracy which are key employability skills.
The instructions for the National Numeracy Challenge have been posted on the College Study Directory (only accessible via a student account) and will be emailed to all students at the start of the week in question.
On this day, all teaching staff at the College will be engaged in interviewing prospective students from our partner and link schools. Please note that the Learning and Resource Centre will not be available for students.
