Eight current Fine Art students have been selected to have their work exhibited in the Mall Galleries in London. The twelfth Annual National Students’ Art Exhibition under the patronage of The Royal Society of British Artists is being held at the Mall Galleries in London from 7-11th July 2015, with an opening ceremony being held on the 7th July. This exhibition is highly prestigious and designed to recognise and support excellence and creativity in schools and colleges. Amanda Cotrell, Former Chairman of Visit Kent, High Sheriff and deputy Lord Lieutenant of Kent (and also a former Walt Disney animator!) officially opened the exhibition.

The eight students who have had their work selected are Tessa Pritchard, Anna Byrne, Molly Gray, Anya Mandal and Annabelle Scott from the A2 course, and Elena Rivera-Montanes, Kathy Gasperi and Simon Rai from the AS students. In addition to these students in the exhibition Robyn Salt, an AS Fine Art student, was shortlisted as highly commended.

Elena Rivera-Montanes commented, "I am privileged to have had my artwork selected to be presented in the Mall Galleries alongside so many other inspiring pieces created by every student. I have really enjoyed this experience, and am proud to have been a part of it."

One of our A2 students, Anna Byrne, was also selected by the RBA as one of the 20 Scholars from the exhibition, meaning that she has been invited to participate in several exhibitions with the RBA in the next year!
