Hearing and meeting entrepreneurs and people in industry helps to bring any subject to life, especially a business qualification. BMW, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Source Supplies and Capquest (Arrow) visited the College throughout the last three weeks to talk to Cambridge Technicals business students about their company structures and HR policies. This has enabled students studying particular units of the Cambridge Technicals qualification the chance to apply what they know to companies that are on their doorstep.
Laura Wakefield, the College’s Employability Coordinator, said, “The College is extremely fortunate to have a host of organisations keen on supporting and inspiring our young people. Being able to give students direct information from a range of organisations is invaluable and these visits enable them to ask questions and see their subject area in real industry examples. Thank you so much to these companies for giving up their valuable time.”
