Sir Gerald Howarth talking to politics students
On Friday November 18 November MP for Aldershot Sir Gerald Howarth visited the college to speak to politics students. In front on a packed lecture theatre Sir Gerald spoke about the new Conservative government and the future of the UK outside of the European Union.
Afterwards, the students asked some excellent questions, with Sir Gerald explaining his forthright views on the defence industry, the Middle East and the BBC.
Nathan Scott, Head of politics said: "Sir Gerald has been a friend of the college for many years. He has always been extremely accommodating in giving up his time to come and speak to the students. It is good to see so many young people engaged in Politics. It is just a shame that there wasn't any more time to discuss more questions."
