Tables recently published by the Department for Education (DfE) confirm that The Sixth Form College Farnborough is an outstanding choice when considering post 16 study. National ‘value-added’ data from the DfE show that A level students at the College, sitting exams in the summer of 2016 made the most progress from their starting points (value added) than students in any other college in Hampshire or neighbouring Berkshire and Surrey.

Students on average achieved a value added score of 0.2. This means that at Farnborough the equivalent of 375 students gained one grade higher than they would have done if they had attended a college or school sixth form achieving the national average. The results are particularly impressive because Farnborough has the largest entry of A level students in the country with exceptional retention on courses as well as being one of the least selective of any educational institution in the area.
