Psychology students at Royal Holloway
Continuing our relationship with Royal Holloway University, students visited the campus at the end of last term to see the facilities on offer. They were given tours by current students providing an insight into university life and attended talks and seminars on a range of topics including ‘malleability of memory’ and ‘understanding delusions’. The group also took part in research which department were conducting on facial recognition and the psychology of love and had the opportunity to visit the brain imaging equipment the university has on site.
Anna Alcalde-Mills, Subject Tutor for psychology said, “It was a great day for the students who were able to experience a taster of what psychology is really like at university.”
