MP for Aldershot Leo Docherty recently visited the College to speak to politics students in a packed Lecture Theatre. Before the event, students discussed what questions they would put to Mr Docherty, they asked about a variety of topics, from UK/Saudi relations to NHS care and tuition fees.
Afterwards, he praised the students for their questions and research. Mr Docherty then kindly invited students to visit Parliament later in the year and offered to give them a taste of what it is like to be an MP in Britain.
Nathan Scott, Curriculum Manager for government and politics said, "This is the second time Leo has given up his time to visit College and speak with students. He really has given them something to think about and it was fantastic to see so many young people engaged in politics."
