Students outside the Reichstag Building
22 second year history students spent a weekend in Berlin, developing their knowledge for a major component of their A level course. During their time in Germany, students visited Parliament in the Reichstag Building, the Sachsenhausen concentration camp, the 1936 Olympic Stadium and the Kreuzberg district.
Students thoroughly enjoyed the trip commenting:
"Lessons about Germany now have a completely new dimension! It is wonderful having seen the places we are studying and really brings our lessons to life."
"The structure of the trip was fantastic, to be able to visit places such as Sachsenhausen and Wannsee House was very thought provoking.”
