A sunny June evening marked the opening day of the Summer Art Exhibition and Fashion Show at the College. This annual event is a celebration of the hard work of over 350 students across four artistic disciplines: graphic design; fashion textiles; fine art and photography.
Students, staff, family, friends and a number of VIPs, including the Mayor of Rushmoor, were invited to the evening to congratulate the students on the exceptionally high standard of work they have created throughout the year. The range of work shows the tremendous creativity and imagination of the students here at Farnborough.
During the evening, the fashion textiles department had arranged a dazzling fashion show displaying just some of the fabulous pieces that our students have created. The show was a great success and the audience were in awe of the work – you can view the show below.
This event is such a wonderful opportunity for our art and design students, many of whom will go on to pursue careers in the creative industry.
Well done to all the students and staff involved – what a fantastic way to celebrate the end of another successful year!
