A group of our financial studies students have recently been awarded a scholarship to one of London Institute of Banking and Finance’s (LIBF) degree programmes.
Our financial studies course is a two year vocational level 3 qualification. The course gives students an introduction to personal finance and develops their knowledge and skills to enable them to make informed financial decisions.
The scholarships were awarded to the top 1% of all students and to any students who achieved an A* or A grade on the financial studies course. If our students apply to one of LIBF’s degree programmes, receive an offer and then meet the offer conditions their scholarship will automatically be applied.
The scholarships ranged from £500 to £750 and were awarded to eight students from Farnborough. Congratulations to them all on their fantastic achievements.
The students have also been invited to a bespoke day at LIBF’s City of London campus to experience banking and finance courses at the university. This visit will hopefully help them to decide whether a degree in the banking and finance sector is something they wish to pursue after college.
