Grace and our students
Last week, we had the immense pleasure of welcoming back one of our talented alumni, Westend star Grace Mouat, for an unforgettable day of workshops and discussions with our first-year BTEC Performing Arts students. Grace, who once studied PA herself at the College, returned to impart her wisdom and inspire the next generation of performers.
The professional workshop led by Grace delved into vocal techniques and harmonies, while also mastering the intricacies of choreography. With her wealth of experience and undeniable talent, Grace guided the students, pushing them to explore their potential and reach new heights.
It is truly remarkable to witness how far Grace has come since her days as a student here at our college. She has starred in some of the most iconic productions, including "Cinderella," "Legally Blonde," and "& Juliet." Her performances have gathered rave reviews, showcasing her talent and versatility.
Adding to her list of accomplishments, Grace recently finished her run on "The Great British Bake Off: The Musical." A testament to her dedication and hard work that she continues to shine in a variety of roles, captivating her audiences.
As a College, we take immense pride in Grace's accomplishments and achievements. Her journey from a performing arts student here to a highly sought-after Westend star is nothing short of inspiring. We have followed her career with great interest and joy.
The day with Grace was not just about workshops and training. She concluded her visit with a captivating Q&A session, where our students had the opportunity to interact with her on a personal level. Hearing Grace share her experiences and the challenges she faced after college was invaluable for our budding performers. Her story served as a reminder that success is not always immediate, but with perseverance, passion, and hard work, dreams can become a reality.
The enthusiasm and admiration our students exhibited while meeting Grace was clear. Her down-to-earth nature and willingness to connect with aspiring performers left a lasting impression on everyone present.
We would like to thank Grace Mouat for taking the time to visit our college and share her expertise. Her return to our department has reignited the flame of inspiration among our students. We will eagerly follow her career, and await the ventures of our current students.
