The symbol of remembrance
On Friday 11th November at 11 am, our staff and students gathered in Café D to remember and reflect, in commemoration of Remembrance Day following the Armistice at the end of World War 1.
The service opened with Principal, Zoe Smallman welcoming everyone to the poignant service. Siya, President of the Student Union delivered a short reading of ‘For The Fallen’ by Laurence Binyon followed by James, Second Year Student who played a rendition of ‘The Last Post’ on the bugle. After the two minutes silence was held the event culminated in a harrowing performance of ‘I Believe’ by our wonderful Chamber Choir, a clip of which you can view on our College Instagram.
