“Firstly and most importantly, huge congratulations to all of our students who received their results today!!  

Class of 2024, you have achieved a fantastic overall pass rate for A levels of 99%, with 34.3% of A level grades at A*-A (as against an England average of 27.6%) and 64.2% of A level grades at A*-B (as against an England average of 53.6%); in vocational courses, you have achieved equally impressive results, with a remarkable overall pass rate of 99.1%, and 81.3% of vocational grades being high grades.  A special mention must go to the 58 students who have achieved three or more A*/Distinction*s - your results are exceptional. 

You have all worked incredibly hard, and these are results to be truly proud of.  You have proved that you have the skills to meet the demands of this changing world with confidence and now your future awaits you - we wish you every possible success and happiness as you embark on your next steps, whatever they may be.  For those going onto university, an astounding 80% of you placed (so far) have been accepted to your first choice university.

None of this would be possible without the hard work, care, support and dedication of our inspirational teaching staff and exceptional pastoral tutors, as well as all the incredibly committed support staff that make the College such a special and wonderful place in which to achieve success.
