We are thrilled to share that our college has once again been awarded the Quality in Careers Award, marking our sixth successful reassessment.

This prestigious national award recognises excellence in careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG), and we are hugely proud of this continued achievement.

Retaining the award highlights our ongoing commitment to ensuring that all students benefit from a wide range of high-quality careers and employment support. It reflects the dedication of our staff and the strong systems we have in place to help students explore their future pathways with confidence—whether that be university, apprenticeships, or employment.

The assessor's report praised several key strengths of our careers provision, including:

"Strong Senior Management and Governor support and a whole College approach to CEIAG. 

A very committed and well-organised Careers Leader, who engages well with other members of staff to deliver a comprehensive CEIAG programme and is highly valued by students, teachers, parents/carers and external partners. 

A strong commitment to work experience which is planned and delivered by a dedicated team.

The very impressive annual Moving On Day, which is supported by a wide range of employers, apprenticeship providers and universities."

This recognition not only reflects the hard work of our dedicated Careers team, but also the collaborative effort of staff across the college. For students, it means they are supported by a careers programme that is highly respected and tailored to meet their individual needs. For staff, it is a well-deserved acknowledgment of their role in helping prepare students for life beyond college.
