For the first time in over two years, a swimming team proudly represented the College in competitive action, participating in the Hampshire qualifying round of the prestigious ESSA Schools Team Championships.
Held in Winchester, the event drew approximately 400 student swimmers from across the region, all competing in Freestyle and Medley relay races with hopes of securing a place at the National Finals in Birmingham this November.
Nine dedicated students from the College took to the pool, delivering an outstanding performance that showcased their talent, teamwork, and determination. The A-Team triumphed in the Medley relay, earning a well-deserved Gold Medal, and followed up with a strong showing in the Freestyle relay to claim Silver.
We are currently awaiting official confirmation, but early indications suggest that both relay teams have successfully qualified for the National Finals next month, a fantastic achievement and a proud moment for the College.
