Odiham Castle by student Theo
First year photography student Theo has recently had a picture he took of Odiham Castle featured in the March 2026 edition of Hampshire Life magazine.
Theo said, ‘I am really proud of this photograph because it was my first attempt at light painting at night, and I feel it turned out well. I tried using central composition with the castle directly in the middle of the photo and lighting the castle from the side with a torch to create midtones across the castle and add depth. The strongest element of the photograph is the texture and detail in the stone wall from the light hitting the side and creating tiny shadows and highlights.’
Huge congratulations to Theo on getting both the picture and the feature in the magazine….a future career in photography perhaps!
