On 14th November Dr David Brown, Curriculum Manager Modern History, joined a range of historians to talk to students about early 20th Century German History at the 'History in Action' Conference for 2024.
This was a prestigious event with around 300 students attending to listen to talks from some of the best historians in the field including Professor Richard Evans from Cambridge University who is one of the world's leading academics on Nazi Germany.
David spoke to around 300 students about their A Level study and how to apply their knowledge to the specific requirements of the exam board questions.
David said, "It was a great honour to be asked to speak at the same conference as so many prestigious historians. Talking to around 300 students at once was definitely a unique experience."
