Nine of our fine art students have had their work displayed in the Mall Galleries in London. The Annual National Students’ Art Exhibition under the patronage of The Royal Society of British Artists was held between 12 -15 July 2017.  This prestigious exhibition is designed to recognise and support excellence and creativity in schools and colleges.

Those selected were second year students Megan Smith, Lydia Gough, Ashmina Lamichhane and Sami Malla and first year students Elsa Riley, Tobias Cousins, Hannah Stratford, Eugenie Ellor and Emily Malone. In addition Natasha Eggleton, a first year student, was shortlisted and highly commended. Congratulations to all!

Elsa Riley commented, “Exhibiting my work at the Mall Galleries was an amazing and enjoyable experience. I loved celebrating everyone's work and gaining inspiration.”

Sami Malla added, “The exhibition was special, rewarding me for my hard work over the past two years and encouraging me for the future.”

Curriculum Manager for fine art, Paul Ayres concluded, “We are very proud of our students being selected for this great opportunity to be exhibited in such a prominent gallery. It was a wonderful event and a great way to finish another brilliant academic year at the college!”
