Susie Nyman and Stephani Pistorius at Buckingham Palace
Congratulations to our fantastic colleagues Dr Susie Nyman (Curriculum Manager for Health and Social Care) and Stephani Pistorius (Head of Study Support) who were invited to attend a Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace held to honour people for their Services to Education. The event, which was hosted by the King and Queen, included a celebratory afternoon tea as well as music from military bands and the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful gardens on a wonderfully sunny spring day.
Dr Susie Nyman said, “We were honoured and humbled to be invited to attend the Royal Garden Party. It was a tremendous opportunity to spend the day with like-minded individuals who are passionate about making a difference to childrens’ lives.
Highlights of the day include the scrumptious cucumber sandwiches, the wonderful palace gardens and having a real-life glimpse of the King and Queen and I even shook the Queen’s hand!”
